Robin Lawrence , CPA, CA
Growing up, I always wanted to do something that really made a difference. As a child, that image included rescuing countless animals from danger and creating an impressive in-home zoo. In high school, I excelled at accounting and realized those skills could be used to fulfil my goal of making a difference without the daily labour required by zookeeping.
At Hendry Warren, I now focus on working with entrepreneurs and business owners to foster successful companies and help clients navigate the sometimes-intimidating world of accounting and tax. I’m always excited to connect with current clients and build relationships with new clients. I enjoy networking and working with our social committee to create a great work environment for our staff; I’m still working to convince the team to acquire a firm pet. Outside of work, I like to stay involved and was previously the treasurer for Therapeutic Paws of Canada. In my free time, I spend as much time as possible outdoors and with my zoo, which is much is much smaller than my childhood dream with only one cat and one dog.
Starting at Hendry Warren as a University of Waterloo Co-op student in 2012, Robin was hired full time in 2014 after completing a Masters of Accounting and obtained her CPA, CA in 2016.
