Brock McDonald , CPA, CA, CBV
Growing up in small town Ontario, like most kids, I dreamt of being a professional hockey player. As I grew older and realized that my math and problem-solving skills were outpacing my hockey skills, accounting seemed like a natural fit.
My passion for accounting stems from my desire for continuous learning and new challenges. I challenge myself to question the status quo, I challenge myself to diversify my knowledge and skillset, and most of all I challenge myself to bring my best every day with my clients and colleagues. I have put these words into practice by diversifying my skillset and becoming a Chartered Business Valuator. I thoroughly enjoy assisting entrepreneurs grow their business and think about the next steps. This additional designation allows me to offer a wide range of advice and services to my clients.
Brock joined HWLLP in 2015 as an intern from Carleton University and was hired full time that same year. He is a member of CPA Canada and CPA Ontario after obtaining his CPA, CA designation in 2017. He is also a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators after obtaining his CBV designation in 2021.
