Megan Bloskie

I knew in Grade 10 that I wanted to become an accountant but what I didn’t know at that time was how much I would end up loving this career. Growing up in the small Ottawa Valley town of Barry’s Bay, I was taught the value of community, hard work and helping others. I am able to utilize these core values every day at Hendry Warren while working with my colleagues and clients.

My primary area of focus at Hendry Warren is working alongside our assurance clients and assisting to train and mentor our firm’s future audit seniors. I enjoy the opportunity and change of working with our assurance clients to gain a strong understanding of their operations to be able to provide sound and practicable advice on how they can strengthen their financial controls, reporting and operations.  My experience working on complex assurance engagements meshes well with our owner-managed businesses and personal tax clients to provide exceptional service and helps achieve their entrepreneurial dreams while supporting them in the preparation of their compilation engagements, corporate or personal tax return needs.

Megan graduated from Brock University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) and joined Hendry Warren full-time in October 2012. She is a member of CPA Canada and CPA Ontario and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2015. Megan serves as the Treasurer for Dress for Success Ottawa.
