Jacob Milosek , CPA, CA
“The government insists that all taxpayers should pay their fair share of tax. I agree with them, however, my view of “fair share” is a bit different! I take great pride in helping taxpayers navigate our complex tax system and working with owner-managed businesses to try to minimize their overall tax burden.”
Jacob works with a diverse client base and provides a wide variety of services to businesses and business-owners in countless industries. As an income tax specialist, he can assist you with income tax and estate planning, corporate reorganizations, case specific research, and making representations to tax authorities in connection with audits and appeals.
As an avid sports fan, Jacob enjoys organizing firm social events and office pools. In 2019, Jacob helped to organize a T-ball program in conjunction with Corkery Community Association and has served as coach and coordinator since. The t-ball league has been incredibly popular and has now grown to include a baseball league for 7 and 8 year old children. Jacob also serves as the treasurer for the Corkery Community Association.
Jacob graduated with highest honours from Carleton University in 2008 and joined Hendry Warren shortly thereafter. He obtained his CA in 2009 and completed the In-Depth Tax Course in 2013. He is a member of The Canadian Tax Foundation and is a board member of the Ottawa Estate Planning Council. He is currently serving as the course coordinator and as a lecturer for CPA Canada’s Income Tax for the General Practitioner course which provides tax training to CPAs from across Canada.
Recently, Jacob was awarded the Forty Under 40 award for his contributions to the Ottawa Business Community. In 2018, he received the Emerging Leader Award by CPA Ontario, which is given to CPA’s, 34 years old or younger, for making significant contributions to both their workplace and the community.
